James Beau Barclay grew up in Bristol, playing guitar from the age of 9. He has been active in London’s music scene for a number of years and is a CYF (Cre8tiv® Youth Forum) member at The Midi Music Company.
You Make Life Easy was released last year as his final single of 2019, one of 5 singles released from his bedroom. James also made unique artworks for each of the tracks.
You Make Life Easy is an upbeat and optimistic indie pop song, "inspired by my incredibly joyful girlfriend. She has shown me a better way to look at life and ultimately made it easy". The recording won James a place performing at the BBC Music Introducing Live event in November 2019.
‘Alive’ is the third single in his upcoming EP ‘Found Me’ which will take the listener on an emotional journey, starting starting with the depths of despair and traveling through acceptance, fulfilment, and finally joy!
