In Galatians 4:4 Paul writes that when ‘the time had fully come’, God sent His Son into the world. The word Paul uses is ‘Kairos’ a word meaning ‘at the most opportune time’. God spent 1500 years preparing the world for the single most important even in human history, His coming into the world He created to reveal Himself in the person of Jesus of Nazareth, to show His love and purpose for the creatures made in His image, and to give His life as a sacrifice for sin.

In this lecture we will examine the contributions of the Jews, Greeks and Romans, all of whom were essentail for the kairos.
