This is Chronos Trials RPG, a game in the style of mobile game Inflation RPG. The early access version is now available on Google Play Store. There is also a new version of the demo on Itch.io. I don't know if it will soon release on Steam or not.

This is just the first time I have won against Chronos in this version. Hopefully I still have a long ways to go.

I forgot to show my equipment and skill tree at the start (woops) but I did at 2:35 . My setup is probably nowhere near ideal; I haven't experimented.

During this run I discovered paths to return to previous areas, which weren't there in earlier versions. Later I verified (after recording the video) that, as far as I've reached in the game, every area has a way back, and you can backtrack all the way to the first town if you want (not into your house though). So you can see that critter in the forest that only appears late in the day, and you can easily come back and beat that 3000 thing in the magma cavern.

I like this style of games. They are very different from the stuff I usually record, though.

In these games, you have a limited number of fights to grow your level and get as far as you can, then you start over and try it again. During the attempt you may buy gear and have gear drop from foes, and although you can't keep money from one try to the next, you can keep the gear ... giving you a good chance at making it farther next time. As far as I know, the ingenious game that invented this sub-genre was Inflation RPG. I like this style of game a lot. I wanna see more of them, lol.
