I wrote this piece nearly a year ago, and I'm excited to finally share it with you! The piece represents the passage of time. Running underneath the push and pull of the offset melody and meter shifts is an ever-present "clock chime" ostinato (can you hear the nod to Big Ben?), inevitably pulling you forward through the music.
