Hello everyone!
This is a song that I've wanted to cover for a loooong time now, and I've finally gotten around to doing it. I felt that when doing this song, it would only be appropriate to attempt to make it an "epic" of sorts, so the backing keyboards (strings and choirs) are much more prominent in this cover than my previous covers.
Watching other covers of this song, I noticed that pretty much everyone played it in standard tuning, sometimes with a capo, which I found out is quite hard to make the arpeggiated chords sound as smooth as possible. A while ago I found out that the DADGAD tuning (used on songs such as "Kashmir" by Led Zeppelin), with a partial capo on strings 1-5 at fret 4 worked pretty much perfectly for this song, because it meant that most of the notes didn't require fretting.
When I was improvising the guitar solo I noticed that the chord structure of this song is similar in places to parts of "Time" by Pink Floyd (I swear that's not a coincidence because they both have "Time" in the name), so there is a similarity between the lead solo in this song and the solo in "Time".

This is also the first time I've attempted a distorted bass solo, ala the late Cliff Burton from Metallica.
