From half inch to almost two inches in four months, the fast-growing Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens, also known as the Green Bottle Blue, is a tarantula species native to the arid deserts of Venezuela. A prolific webber, this species creates dens in the wild beneath shrubs, often with an underground burrow and webbing that extends up into the branches of the bush.
