Chromaplane Tuning Website Jam @PerplexOn

I am really fascinated by the #chromaplane @koma_elektronik but couldn’t justify the purchase yet. But while surfing their website i stumbled across the chromaplane tuning website and couldn’t stop playing with it. 😄 A poor-man’s version of the real deal if you will 😅 In this case, the ipad just mirrors the website and the pen replaces the mouse, which feels even a bit closer to holding the pickup mic of the real thing. By using #blackhole loopback audio driver i was able to add reverb to it and record everything in Ableton.

$BACK TO THE Z (OPZ + iPad IDM Jam) Revisited the #OPZ after a longer hibernation and realized that i forgot mostly how to navigate it. Damn. Anyway, i thought it would be good reason to start completely fresh and clean, did a factory reset and tried to get into it again. Here i‘m mostly using it as a sequencer for the iPad, using #fractalbits for glitch and clicks while also using the inbuilt drums on the OPZ as support. Drums are going through #elasticfx on the ipad for further glitching. Pads are coming from #Aparillo, also sequenced by the OPZ. Visuals are reacting to the midi note coming from the main kick on the OPZ, made with Notch and projected onto the table.
