Today I am showing you some "home decor" trees I made with a Concord and 9th die set I got about a year ago. While I really like the look of the little trees they make, I do have to say they are a bit fiddley. They look very realistic, so if you're looking for a set of little tiny trees (about 3-4" tall) this is your set! Honestly, the tiny little embellishment set (Taking A Bough) is adorable, but hard to use if you have trouble with your fingers or hands. Also, I highly recommend figuring out how to glue the cute little ornaments on the tree branches before you assemble the tree.
(I will always tell you the truth, even when it's one of my favorite companies. Sigh)
Supplies Used:
Take A Bough Encore Bundle: concordand9th.com/products/take-a-bough-encore-bundle
Cardstock: Michael's and The Cardstock Warehouse. I used 100# weight. It makes for a sturdier tree.
Skewers: Honestly: they came from The Dollar Tree. . .maybe Dollar General. They do not need to be
fancy.
Base: I wrapped old styrofoam in Christmas paper. They show wooden coins with skewers.
