Holy wow this is the worst Christmas vid ever. I'm sorry it's so cruddy, but I'm really struggling to finish things, lately, and so I hurried with this one.
My wishlist:
1. That all of you will have a safe and happy Christmas.

Welp, I made it into the final round, so here goes nothing.
The painting I chose is Saint Eulalia by John William Waterhouse. It depicts the martyrdom of Saint Eulalia of Merida, a teenage Christian killed under the persecutions of Diocletian and Maximian. Ive loved this painting ever since I first saw it, and once I remembered it when trying to figure out what to do for this round, I decided to make a video based on it. Therere a lot of multifandoms nowadays that focus on a more secular-worldview; about how tragic and terrible the world can be, and how ugly people can be to each other. I dont want to deny reality, because Ill admit that ugly things happen.
But what I found moving about this painting is that despite the hatred of humans that Eulalia suffers, her sacrifice is not forgotten or ignored, and the snow that falls to cover her signifies that God remembers even if no one else does, and is a promise that someday, justice will be done. I kind of branched out beyond that in the video, I guess, but I hope the meaning comes across okay.
Anyway, I dont expect to place, but Im glad to have made it through all three rounds, and I guess Im okay with how I did.

Gahh, I finally finished it. I know this isnt one of the projects I posted like two weeks ago, and Im sorry for that. Ive lost inspiration for like 6 of the vids I was making. The Marvel one with Arctic *will* be finished (if it kills me :P) but Im still missing several episodes of Daredevil and would like to get some more scenes from other media before I finish it. So, soon on that one, hopefully.
Now, for these two. My beautiful crossover otp. I love them so much Im actually writing an entire fanfic about them (which you can read here *hint hint* : http://archiveofourown.org/works/4168569/chapters/9409761 [which I also havent updated in a month which I need to do...]). The funny thing is, (as youll see in my fic if you read it,) I dont really ship them all dark and angsty as I do in this video. This just sort of...happened. I really hate making manips, and I suck at it, so please be gentle on my first foray into AUing.
It even has a sort of story:

Wanda is in Hells Kitchen for one reason or another one day when she comes upon a gang of criminals and Daredevil duking it out. She mistakes Matt for one of them and uses her powers on him, which causes him to attack the police, thinking theyre still under Fisks control. Both he and Wanda are horrified at the results.
Awhile later, Matt meets the Avengers and recognizes Wanda as the one who made him attack the cops, and treats her suspiciously, which hurts her. But then later, Wanda gets kidnapped by some thugs who work for HYDRA to save the other Avengers, so they go to Daredevil for help saving her. Matt finds her and they have to work together to escape, which forces them to work past their differences, and it ends with them finding a newfound trust and Wanda helping Matt out with crime-fighting.
Hopefully yall can get that out of the video (maybe someday Ill write a fic with this storyline. Who knows.)
Anyway, I have a lot going on lately (Im turning eighteen in two weeks, holy cow!) and dont have a lot of inspiration, but Im going to keep working on those unfinished projects, and hopefully start some new ones. :)
