Christmas Trees - A poem by Robert Frost.
About the poem - The poem is written in free verse and is almost like a Christmas letter written to friends and family. What distinguishes it from others is a beautiful story taking place in the midst of a normal Christmas letter. Frost has aptly subtitled his poem as "A Christmas Circular Letter".
About the poet - Robert Lee Frost (March 26, 1874 -- January 29, 1963) was an American poet. He is highly regarded for his realistic depictions of rural life and his command of American colloquial speech. One of the most popular and critically respected American poets of his generation, Frost was honored frequently during his lifetime, receiving four Pulitzer Prizes for poetry.
