Christmas Top 5 Movie Themes of mine favorite christmas themes for piano. It's very hard to make a top 5 that you are 100% happy with. There are so many great christmas themes. I understand that a lot of people are not with me on this top 5 but this is just my personal taste.
The piece "Christmas, Why Can't I find You" of the Grinch should have been a bit higher. Amazing piece by James Horner! This is arranged by the Great Ray Juden just as the Polar Express Theme. Please check out his channel!
My alltime favorite christmas movie theme is Home Alone from John Williams. Great movie with a marvelous theme. Maybe one of the best John Williams themes I am familair with (together with the Jurassic Park soundtrack I guess).
The Holiday is also a typical christmas movie and Hans Zimmer wrote a beautiful cue for that one. The Love Actually theme is from one of the most underrated film music composers Craig Armstrong! I really should do more of his work. What themes would you include for a Christmas Top 5? I might do a Christmas Top 10 of Movie Themes one day so I am wondering what your thoughts are :)
