Today we revisited our original Soap Saver Scrubby tutorial and gave it a holiday twist!

Today's Pattern Notes:
size 4 medium weight 100% cotton yarn ~20 y each red and white; 4.50 mm (G/6 or 7) hook.
Using the original pattern as written I alternated between red and white for each row, finishing with red used for both the Eyelet Row 17 and the Finishing Row 18.
My Little Tree Applique:
Ch 8, sl st into the 2nd ch from the hook, sc into the next ch, hdc into the next ch, (ch 1, sl st) into the next ch, sc into the next ch, dc into the next ch, tr into the last ch. Sl st across the edge of the tr st and into the first foundation ch. Working up the other side of the foundation chain row:
Ch 3, dc into the next st, sc into the next st, sl st into the next st, (ch 1, hdc) into the next st, sc into the next st, sl st into the last st (opposite the first sl st), ch 1.
Sl st down through the centre of the tree through each of the foundation chs. Ch 2, fasten off, leave enough tail to sew with and weave in short end.
