In the early noughties, ITV brought us an annual pantomime extravaganza (some would say 'schedule filler'), featuring many familiar faces. In 2000, it was Aladdin, featuring Martin Clunes, Julian Clary and Paul Merton, among many others. S Club 7 provided a musical interlude.
