I've been posting photos and write-ups about them all month on my Facebook page, but that's actually because I took a few days to travel to each location and make this video.
Unfortunately EVERY single day I went out, it was rainy. Fukuoka has had a lot of rain this year, but the reflections of the lights in the pavement made for a pretty picture too.
Hakata City and Hikari Square Illuminations are running until mid-January.
Fukuoka Tower and Canal City are until Christmas day, I believe.
The Christmas Market outside of Hakata Station also finishes on the 25th of this month.
But if you drop by Fukuoka next year around this season, you can expect to see very much of the same (and perhaps a bit more.)

In October I had the chance to travel to the east coast of Canada for a travel conference in Halifax to talk about tourism between Japan and Canada, and I arrived a few days ahead of the conference to join a tour of Prince Edward Island! Prince Edward Island has always been one of my favorite places in Canada, mainly because its so very different from the West Coast of Canada, and the scenery that Ive grown up with.
I wasnt there to shoot a video, and only spent a short time there, so I didnt get to shoot everything I wanted, but I recorded as much as I could during my short trip!

あんまりにも短すぎて、島の素敵なところを十分出してないと思いますが、本当に素敵なところですので、来年また帰ってきちんと良い動画が取れたらと思います。

Sakaiura Beach, on Chichijima (the main island) is a gorgeous stretch of shoreline with coral reefs, clear blue water, and a sunken shipwreck lying in clear view from the bay (!!)
The Hinkomaru was shot with a U.S. Navy torpedo during the Pacific War, and has laid sunken in this bay ever since. On fair weather days, visitors are encouraged to swim out and explore it! In the clear calm waters you can observe coral growing on the rusted ruins, and even encounter schools of tropical fish!
In the winters, the waters are a little more rough, so we explored by kayak, but it was still exciting to take a look under the water’s surface and see what lies beneath. (By the way, the water wasn’t even cold, even though mainland was about 0°c and snowing, the outside temperature here was 18°c, and the water was warm enough to swim in!)")
