while i am not necessarily a fan of elvis (sorry!), i am a HUGE fan of christmas! i have made it my personal mission to scope out as many christmas events as possible down here in memphis, tennessee! the first on our list for the season, was a trip out to graceland for a free lighting of elvis' family mansion. the event was short and frankly, not the most organized event i've been to, but it was really nice to check it out.

after the lighting at graceland, i went to check out the new enesco (think: jim shore!) villages that were set up and my goodness!, they were incredible. this was a major highlight for me as a huge fan of sculpted art that is relatively affordable and a long-ish time jim shore collector. if you're in memphis and checking out graceland, DON'T MISS the enesco show room!
