This week we spend Christmas in Florida at Hillsborough River State Park. This is our first Florida Christmas and we felt right at home do to the record cold that week in Florida.
Hillsborough River State Park is located in the northeast corner of Hillsborough County, Florida near Zephyrhills. It is a popular park due to its proximity to the city of Tampa. The park consists of over 3,383 acres, and there are more than seven miles of trails that run throughout it. The park offers Kayaking has a large swimming pool that was not open during our visit.
