During the holiday season we have Christmas music playing in our house all day long.
Most of the time combined with a screensaver of some sort of fireplace.

In The NES game Christmas Crisis 2 we have THE FIREPLACE OPTION inspired on our own personal family experience. So instead of playing the game you can relax, select the fireplace option and listen to 8bit xmas music. If the music doesn't calm you down or get you in the Christmas spirit then looking at the 8bit flames, a snoring dog or looking out the window at 8bit falling snow might do the trick.
