MAX'S SPRITZ COOKIE RECIPE
*2-1/2 cups softened butter
*1 cup sugar
*3-1/2 cups flour
*1 tsp baking powder
*1 tsp vanilla extract
*1 tsp almond extract
*1 egg
*cookie sprinkles(optional)
Cream together with electric mixer the butter and sugar. Add 1 cup flour, egg, baking powder, vanilla and almond extract. Add the remaining flour and mix well. Press unchilled dough through a cookie press onto an ungreased cookie sheet. At this point you may sprinkle your cookies before baking. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. To test for doneness make sure they are firm but not brown. Remove cookies onto cooling rack. Makes about 7 dozen.
