Christine lands a beautiful triple toeloop but it isn't enough to hold on to the European crown she had held for the previous three seasons. She won the bronze medal here behind Dianne De Leeuw and Anett Poetszch but was able to overcome the latter in the Olympics and Worlds to win bronze in both.

I love the circle she literally skates around Stanislav Zhuk as she comes off the ice; she must be the only skater who ever got away with that!!
