As the world changes Christianity changes too, as do all religions. The ways that Christianity is used to justify the particular oppressive institutions we struggle with today is also a way that Christianity has changed. So changing the way we express our faith as we change our institutions is inevitable. And for those who think the withering away of all religion is inevitable, what’s much more likely is a stage of religious experimentation, where we discover new ways of expressing our faith outside of old institutions. There’s nothing to be afraid of. Change happens. So let’s change for the better ❤️
