A former Christian school teacher in Rhode Island was arrested on June 19, 2026, and is facing serious charges after allegedly targeting a 14-year-old student.

Sean Cassidy—a teacher and coach at Barrington Christian Academy—has been charged with contributing to the delinquency of a child and providing alcohol to a minor.

Investigators say Cassidy used his role as a coach to build trust with the student through sports and training.

The relationship quickly became abusive.

Police say Cassidy tried to help the student hide Instagram from her parents, bought her alcohol and lingerie-style underwear, and asked her to send nude photos over email.

The student told police Cassidy claimed he worked for a secret section of the FBI… and that “off-worlders” or aliens can pose as humans on Earth.

Cassidy has pleaded not guilty.
