From vinyl crackle to cassette hiss, there’s something about the vintage sound of the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s that keeps calling me back. This reggae anthem was born after a Waikiki surf session, inspired by classic tunes drifting through the air.
Lo-fi sound may stir our souls, but what we need most is a hi-fi life—faithful, devoted, and true to Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:27).
Featuring my good friend Jah Pickney, this track is filled with nostalgic reggae references and real instruments, but at its core it’s a call to live fully for our Savior.
Even if you love the lo-fi sound, may this remind you: you are called to a hi-fi life in Christ.
