Dutch Sheets claims, in reference to Colossians 1:24, that what is missing is our part – “the mediating, the going between, the distributing, the enforcing,” (p. 77). We show that this is a denial of sufficiency of Christ. Our job is to proclaim what He has done, not add to it.
