For Samantha Wright's and Leona Hearts RP: youtube.com/watch?v=ObjHanci-eI
I liked the idea and came up with the idea of bringing Dipper and Mabel into it. I was originally going to keep them together, but my inner writer was like "This needs more conflict! Separate NOW!!" and besides, it's a good way of getting to meet more characters. I hope the video looks good, I messed around with some of the clips and they're not in the best quality, but I hope it gets the point across. (And I just realized I like to make my RP characters siblings or have them look for someone. Here I did both. XD)
Name: Dipper
Age: 12
Holiday: Halloween
Position: Mortal
Abilities: Keeps a journal with everything he knows, memories, fun facts, etc. that often comes in handy.
Personality: Nervous, a little nerdy and shy, but happy to make friends, protective of his sister. Always eager to learn.
Past: Throughout his life, Dipper and his sister Mabel have moved around a lot, and as a result making friends has always been hard, though they are very close to each other. Recently his parents have sent them to stay with their great-uncle who runs a tourist trap on the outskirts of town. Because of this, his sweet but unusual sister, and his habit of writing everything down, Dipper's been made fun of more than he's usually been before, but is more eager than ever to fit in. After noticing a group of kids that are also being picked on but haven't picked on him yet, he takes Mabel and follows them into the woods one day to finally introduce himself. They get lost, but run to a clearing when it seems like a storm is coming. They find the trees each have a holiday symbol on them. The symbols suddenly open up and Dipper and Mabel are separated. Dipper winds up in the world of Halloween, full of terrifying but mostly friendly creatures. He's afraid and alone, but more worried for his sister. He vows to find her, no matter what.
Name: Mabel
Age: 12
Holiday: Easter
Position: Mortal
Abilities: Very creative and imaginative, has a knack for being able to make things out of almost anything
Personality: Bubbly, sweet, and very caring, though her head can be found in clouds more often than not. Open to trying anything new. She doesn't believe in keeping feelings bottled up, and as a result, her emotions can be pretty extreme at times - if she likes you, she'll be very close, but if you make her mad or sad, she may take it pretty hard and say or do some things she doesn't really mean.
Past: Like Dipper, Mabel hasn't been good at making new friends, but it doesn't bother her as much because she loves her brother. She embraces her oddities more than Dipper, from wearing her own homemade clothes to bringing her beloved stuffed pig Waddles with her everywhere. At first she's unsure why Dipper wants to make friends so badly, but after some time the taunts made at their expense start to get to her. She goes with him to find the group of kids in the woods, but on finding the holiday doors, they are separated. She wakes up to find herself in Easter and immediately feels right at home. She loves its bright colors and wants to help in creating the eggs and other paraphernalia that comes with the holiday. She does miss her brother badly, however, and hopes that they'll find each other soon.
