So far I never included Mitch from Australia in my songs. Time to correct that, the melody has been on my shelf for too long.
Thanks to Richard Woodroffe, of the Noteworthy Community, who did the score (yeeeeears ago) which gave me the Midi, which in turn enabled me to display the words on the screen, so you all can happily sing along.
Big thanks to Henriette who did the soprano and alto parts!
During the opening orchestral bars, you will see "Le Cadran de Croisic," which is an equatorially mounted sun dial. Needless to say, this only works on a globe. The plaques explaining which corrections you should apply to get your time from the sun time are clear (but in French), the results are easily verified (which they are, regularly) and the corrections are based on the Globe model.
Because of course I had to include some actual Flat Earth destruction, and you're welcome.
