Chongqing China is home to the longest and busiest monorail line in the world, at 55.5 km and 45 stations. In December 2016, a 5 station brach line opened to the public extending north of the Jianbei Airport to a Mall of China being built. This new extension does not carry many people yet, but all along the route new towers are being built as well as this gigantic shopping and entertainment location!
