Chip and Dave were a duo (sometimes a trio) from West Linn, Oregon featuring Chip Rawson on drums and Dave Immer on the piano (sometimes John Bauer on Saxophone and flute). Other times they were backed with vocal group such as The Suspects as here on this single, which was their only one as far as I know, released c.1966 on the Sure Star Record label, likely associated with Jerden who would release the single themselves the same year. This is the A-side, a pretty decent pop/rhythm & blues tune with lead piano by Dave Immer, who also wrote the track.
