Here’s an amazing video of a chinstrap penguin being hatched. Once the eggs are laid, incubation takes 32-40 days before the chick starts pipping (initially breaking through the egg). Penguin chicks like this will become full grown in about two months. SeaWorld has had a successful penguin breeding program with approximately 30 chicks of varying species hatching in the 2020/2021 breeding season alone.
