Mandarin Corner | Chinese Reading Practice - Why Young Chinese Don't Exercise - Intermediate Chinese - Level: HSK 3 @MandarinCorner2 | Uploaded December 2018 | Updated October 2024, 16 minutes ago.
Our Chinese Reading Practice Program continues with Eileen's commentary on why she believes young Chinese don't like to exercise.
This reading program encourages the student to pause the screen to attempt to read the Chinese characters (hanzi) without pinyin or audio. It then proceeds to provide pinyin, literal translations and slow oral reading to facilitate getting used to reading hanzi. The large Chinese characters made reading easy, even on small smartphone screens.
A unique feature of this program is that every hanzi that appears in the story, is provided in flashcard format so the student can drill the story's Chinese characters. Another unique feature is that we provide free download of the video transcript PDF, audio AND video (for offline study) at http://mandarincorner.org. The audio available on the website is provided WITHOUT pauses so it can also serve as listening practice.
