The program that makes this has been sitting around collecting dust for several months now, and I finally decided to make a video out of it. This animation uses a special version of Chinese numerals where each new number name after 万 (10,000) is the _square_ of the last! As such, the characters that represent those numbers are colored based on the 2048 tile corresponding to their exponent, while the numbers 1 to 9 are just colored based on the rainbow.
The video does get laggy in some parts, but there's nothing I can really do about that except for getting a better computer. (or having the program run super slow, recording that, and speeding it up, but that would take several times longer and use up much more data, so... no)
You can also see the program at ancient-chinese-long-scale-lngi.glitch.me/.
