Chinese companies like "Net Ease" have allegedly been stealing publishing and streaming royalties from the ENTIRE U.S. music scene. This was brought to my attention after artist "Slight Beats" made a tweet referencing the fact they were in the top 1% of foreign artists on "Net Ease". The only problem? This song was never even monetized in the America, meaning there is no way Net Ease had any right to the copyright of the music.
Net ease is the leading music provider in China and basically the Spotify of China. Just this year, they lost a copyright infringement battle against ten cents artist Jay Chou. Slight Beats also mentioned a website called China Music Audit, which supposedly helps artist get access to the royalaties they deserve in China. At this point I cant tell you rather or not this website is legit - But i can say
