Miaohui (lit. shrine gatherings) originate from a form of pagan worship performed by Chinese communities around the time of Lunar New Year. They are, nowadays in mainland China, largely secularised and commercialised. This video only seeks to document the second day of the Longtan Miaohui in southeastern Beijing.
