Dr Marcin Kaczmarski (Lecturer in Security Studies at the University of Glasgow) explains how the Ukraine War has revealed the paradox of Sino-Russia relations. Incremental developments observed for many years have not led to a strategic breakthrough between the two nations. While the Sino-Russian relationship can be considered at its peak, it is still largely with limitations.
