China has offered emergency assistance to support Nepal’s rescue efforts following devastating landslides along the shared border, as the search continues for hundreds of missing people.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian confirmed Beijing will provide aid and international rescue cooperation, while Premier Li Qiang visited affected areas in Xizang to oversee relief operations.

President Xi has sent a message of condolence to Nepalese President Ram Chandra Paudel, while Premier Li expressed condolences to Prime Minister Balendra Shah.
