The US is running short on munitions, and it turns out that China controls many of the rare earth materials the United States needs to replenish its stocks. According to geopolitical analyst Carl Zha, China's control over many rare earth materials has the US in a worrisome position, especially as its relations with Russia remain difficult due to the Ukraine War and the sanctions it has imposed on Moscow.
