Sept, 2016. This video might be a little rough to watch due to the quality of taking videos through the dirty glass and me moving back and forth. However, I thought it was quite interesting and fun to see three year old Uki's reactions to me. I felt like I was dealing with girls I liked in high school with the passive aggressive behavior going on..."I want your attention...but I am going to make you think I am not paying attention to you" game Lol! ;)
Originally, I wasn't paying attention to Uki. I was focusing on the youngest chimps, Johari and Oliver, like I usually do. You don't see this in the video, but what started it was she saw me came over and slapped the glass.
That got my attention and that is when I started the video on her. She then acted like she didn't see me at times, but you will notice when she goes away she always takes a split second to check back to see where I was at.
It was around the 4:50 mark of this video that I tried to be more slow and sneaky so she would not see me. This is where it got pathetically funny for me since she knew where I was before I could see her. She would then tap the glass letting me know she had beaten me each time. ;)
A bunch of people started to show up. At the 6:40 mark a small girl showed up and Uki charged the glass which scared of the little girl. ;)
The whole thing was about 10 minutes long. It is always interesting to wonder what is going on in their heads, but I think I was just getting jerked around by a girl that wanted attention. ;) Keep in mind that if she really didn't want to be around me should would have gone to the areas of the exhibit that she knows I couldn't go to.
Uki was born to Yoshi on March 8, 2013.
