Surprise! Im back... hopefully. Ive had a very eventful past few years which led to me not having much free time. I was focusing a lot on art studies and the like - hopefully the work Ive put in shows in this video!
ANYWHO, this was a NIGHTMARE to render. I cant count how many times I had to rerender the whole thing :v I wanted this to pay homage to my first years of YouTube. Its hard to believe its been 10 whole years!! Drawing Blackheart again (my first mascot) was a lovely throwback to those times~

In fearing the unknown and what we perceive to be finality, we overlook the beauty in the next life. What stories do the remains tell?
A story aiming to challenge the taboos surrounding death and its connotations. What exactly is it that we see? What do we fear about the unknown? Soliloquy takes the viewer through the life cycle of a creature that once was, shedding light into the world that exists beyond the one we know; the life after death.
So, heres my final film from my second year at university! This is my first full length animation that isnt a music video. Its also the first thing Ive worked on with another person ... I guess those years of taking part in Multi Animator Projects paid off in the end.
Our task was to create a film inspired by one of our favourite exhibitions in the citys museum. In particular, I was inspired by a display that was a mix of a paper mache environment and taxidermy (its not as grim as it sounds!). We were split off into teams and I was lucky enough to be able to work with one of my lovely friends, NE0NDREAMS. Theyre only just beginning to delve into animation and such - Im super proud of the work weve done together! All of the post production was done in just under two weeks so we didnt have much time to sit and polish things to absolute perfection.
Either way, Im super proud of this and I hope you guys like it as much as we do! Enjoy!
