Chilean President Gabriel Boric on 23 September 2023 visited the site in Washington D.C. where former Chilean diplomat and first director of the Transnational Institute Orlando Letelier was assassinated in 1976 by agents of the Pinochet dictatorship, along with his Institute for Policy Studies co-worker Ronni Moffitt.
