In November 2025, proud African penguin parent pairs, Tiki and Velma, and Burner and Snickers, each welcomed a penguin chick into the waddle. The first chick hatched to Tiki and Velma on November 16th, with the second chick the next day, on November 17th, to Burner and Snickers. Currently, the two penguin chicks remain behind the scenes, where they're learning to swim, meeting the waddle in smaller groups, and being too dang cute. 😍

They're estimated to make their public habitat debut later this February at the Zoo. Stay tuned for more penguin posts and updates!
