Our new chick and its mother had been peacefully enjoying some time on the grass before Onslow (tabby) and Betty discovered them. The cats and the grownup chickens get along well. Sometimes a cat will chase a chicken or a chicken will peck a cat, but that's it. But baby is still small enough to be tempting, at least for another week.
