This is one of Bernstein's many masterworks, this is his Chichester Psalms for boy treble soloist or countertenor soloist, choir and orchestra. The orchestra consists of 3 trumpets in B♭, 3 trombones, timpani, a five-person percussion section, 2 harps, and strings. I feel this instrumentation gives the piece a more rustic sound, really adding a nice effect. The text was arranged by Bernstein from the Book of Psalms in the original Hebrew.
