Chicago school board members past and present were invited to City Hall on Wednesday to talk about the ongoing turmoil at the Chicago Public Schools, but none of those board members showed up. The meeting then turned into a chance for aldermen to press CPS chief executive officer Pedro Martinez about the district's budget woes.
