Two events taking place Wednesday morning are focused on ongoing issues with schools in Chicago. Chicago Public Schools CEO Pedros Martinez will attend a City Council committee meeting to discuss the district's budget, at the same time the teachers' union is calling on CPS to help keep several charter schools open.
