Chicago White Sox fans celebrated Pope Leo XIV’s connection to the city during “Pope Hat Night” at Rate Field. Chicago priest Fr. Tom Hurley worked with the White Sox marketing team to bring the idea to life and led the crowd in a “sign of peace” that went viral. We speak with Fr. Hurley about the unique Catholic celebration and the White Sox’s connection to Chicago-native Pope Leo XIV.
