Watch Chevrolet Performance install an LT1 E-ROD Connect & Cruise system in a Woody's Hot Rodz Tri-Five Chevy chassis, licensed by Chevrolet Performance. This is particularly exciting because this direct injected engine utilizes a normal pulse with modulated fuel system, like a ZL1 fuel pump. The chassis features a typical fuel system, complete with a tank, pump, fuel fill, hoses, etc. That means Chevrolet Performance’s direct injected engines can be ran at normal fuel pressures as there is a mechanical fuel pump in their line of direct injected engines that increases the pressure to what’s needed by the direct injection system.
