Cherry D | Cherax Destructor - What Have We Learned? @ph3r0x | Uploaded 10 years ago | Updated 1 day ago
Phew~! Last upload from Amity Lines. Once again, this song is positively ancient, but has been dusted off for a proper 'release.' This here's the grand-daddy of friendship-hop, the spiritual predecessor to both ♥ and Amity Lines. Predominantly based around a chopped-and-screwed edit of Alex S' MLP theme remix, this also features various samples from the show and the internet, focusing on a theme of 'oh man how awesome are internet friends (so awesome).' Plus there's some Sigur Rós for good measure. There aren't as many this time, but you can find a full list of the samples I used at dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/70188728/WHWL%20samples.txt
You can download this mad banger at http://cheraxdestructor.bandcamp.com/album/amity-lines for free or whatever! Hooray!
(The art here is an edit of And the Rainfall's awesome album art.)
Be sure to check out Alex S' classic remix youtube.com/watch?v=2R677MV--WI
And Steve Roggenbuck http://youtube.com/user/steveroggenbuck
And Sigur Rós! The light of my life! http://youtube.com/watch?v=K0l5gk5NdTE
man i would be super interested in hearing someone rap over this
You can get all my formal music releases at http://cheraxdestructor.bandcamp.com and please tell me what you think of the new colour scheme
I put music up more regularly at http://soundcloud.com/cxdr
I post cute kaomoji and other silly updates at http://facebook.com/cheraxdestructor
If you liked this, you might also like... the other two friendship-hop songs so far, ♥ and Amity Lines, of course. Also, Braden+, a similarly glitchy beat from that album thing I did a whiles ago. http://cheraxdestructor.bandcamp.com/track/braden
And so, Amity Lines is now all up on YT. If you're looking for more new CxDr, don't worry, I'll be finishing two new collabs soon, and there's another Uni Days fan song on the way! If you're looking for new readings, don't worry, there'll be one up this week! If you're worried about the inevitability of death, don't worry, it's perfectly natural and should only incentivise you to live your life to its fullest potential!
