When we talk about chemical reactions, many of us think of explosions and smoke. And though that is fun, it is only when you understand HOW a reaction happens and learn to control WHEN it happens that you can create new, interesting solutions to help us move forward. In this video, we learn the difference between a chemical reaction and a physical change and explore how fuel cell cars work.
This is the third film in a series of seven videos produced by Molecular Frontiers and Eoscene Productions, in collaboration with Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden, with financial support by Hasselbladsstiftelsen. We encourage you to use it in education, for example as an introduction to the corresponding chapter in the chemistry textbook!
