I actually never played Sonic 2 so I first heard this track on Mania - of course Tee Lopes absolutely crushed it and inspired me to take a swing at it. Had so much fun bringing it to life with some fun mixing and guitar additions.

Ive always been so captivated by this track. Metroid games are such an immersive experience, in no small part due to the incredible atmospheric soundtracks. I wanted to preserve the loneliness and dread ;) of the original and give it a fresh coat of paint.
There are great tracks from Super Metroid that I might do in the future. Let me know what I should tackle next.

One of the most lively tracks from Super Metroid. This area invokes wonder and exploration, and I love how it contrasts with Lower Brinstars score. I tried to take all the original elements of the piece and add some of my own sauce to it. I also got to pull out my PRS which was fun.
