To demonstrate that zero is possible, over 1000 local Victorian club captains will swap their numbers for zero on August 3rd for the TAC AFL Victoria Towards Zero Round, supporting our vision towards zero deaths and serious injuries on our roads.
It’s an initiative that’s particularly important to Jack Worrell, captain of the Cheltenham Football Club, who lost his mother in a road accident. Des Ryan, Cheltenham coach and Jack’s close family friend, presented him with his zero jumper, and reminded us all that zero is more than just a number, it’s a goal that’s possible if we all work together.
