Chellakkutty is a Tamil Language 1987 film starring Sarath Babu and Sujatha in lead roles. The film is directed by K. Natarajan and produced by C.Dhandayuthapani.

Synopsis
Vijay (Sarath Babu) is a sincere, honest Forest Police officer who is new to the town and lives a peaceful life with his wife (Sujatha) and son Raja.
The local politician Gopal (Ravichandran) does all the illegal activities in the forest and plans to trap Vijay in a false case to clear his way to do the business.
Vijay gets arrested and his family is forced to leave the town. Here's when an elephant comes to the rescue and (Sujata) adopts him as her son. In the end, how bravely the lovely elephant saves her entire family forms the rest of the story.
